The decoder gave the wrong date?

This is the most useful thing you can send us. Please include:

• the brand and the full serial number;
• the date printed on the label (often "MFG. DATE"), if there is one;
• if possible, a photo of the rating label.

Each confirmed label helps us make the decoder more accurate for everyone.

Other reasons to write

• a brand you would like us to add;
• a mistake on one of our pages;
• partnership or press questions.

We cannot diagnose equipment or give repair advice by email. If you smell gas, see water leaking or have no heat in freezing weather, contact a licensed plumber or HVAC technician, or your gas utility's emergency line.
